WoW Item Upgrades
More commonly referred to as "upping"--are items and enchantments that can be put on weapons and armor pieces, increasing their stats. item upgrading upgrade items add a number of points to the level gauge for the item, with the cost scaling with their popularity.

Type-restricted upgrades

They can also change the appearance of an item. While certain upgrades are universal, others have special rules for weapons or armor. The wrong upgrade can ruin a weapon that was otherwise excellent, and could even render it unusable.
As a general rule you can only upgrade an item of equipment to the level of its highest-level counterpart. You can only upgrade helms up to the highest level. Weapons, on the other hand, can be upgraded to the level of a sword. However, this doesn't increase the weapon's damage output and can decrease its trade value.
To upgrade an item you need to spend flightstones and crests. The amount of both depends on the item level and slot. Upgrades to swords, for example will require more flightstones compared to an upgrade of the cloth. You may also get discounts on the amount of flightstones or crests required to upgrade an item.
The diamond-shaped indicator on the item is filled up when it is upgraded. Each step increases Tier level by one-third. The highest level of Tier is Tier 3. Based on the item, it may take a different number of upgrades to reach this level. It is essential to keep in mind that any process that can be used to mount a disk must not be run when upgrading. In addition, you must ensure that the disk you are upgrading is not being used as a system disk.
Enchantment is a feature that allows you to transform white or Common items into rare or blue ones. It is possible to do this at Eleanor's Enchantment Shop in the Capital District. This method does not add gem or rune slots to the equipment, however, it alters the size of the equipment. Universal upgrades

The Universal Upgrade begins when "internal technologies" can give sentient animals new capabilities that they are unlikely to acquire naturally. Implants and prostheses are both examples of internal technology. This type of technology is not the same as medical internal technology which is designed to restore the capabilities of nature. Instead, it is the beginning of an upgrade process that changes civilizations in a fundamentally different way. The universal upgrade is a lengthy and complex process. However the process is divided into two categories: complete success and partial failure.
This is similar to the ways that resort upgrades are implemented at Disney or Universal. In the case of WDW the majority of them occur because of operational issues like room availability or overbooking. In the case of Universal is involved, it may be to relocate guests to a different resort that is open. This is not meant to be a mean-spirited thing but it is something that can be inevitable in the current environment.
Universal upgrades can be used on any kind of gear. In addition, they can be applied to multiple items at a time. This makes them more adaptable than other types of upgrades. This flexibility can be problematic when upgrading items on a specific gear path. It can increase the levels of each of the items on that path.
Before you upgrade, it's important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the application files that are already in use. Jewels

Jewel tiers are based on the amount of modifiers they have and higher-tier jewels have more modifiers than those of lower tier. The primary effect is determined by a jewel's tier, while the secondary effect is random. Players can make use of luck potions to increase their chances of obtaining better secondary effects.
Jewels can be added to objects with sockets that match as with other upgrade components. For instance, a Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both provide a bonus to strength, however the Garnet Pebble only increases the number of hits that are regular, while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's strong attacks. The bonus for upgrading will be shown below the bar which shows the upgrade level.
If the player decides to upgrade their item, the item will be brought to the upgrader NPC who will explain how to upgrade the item. The player will then need to provide the appropriate currency needed for the upgrade and may be required to supply additional materials should they require it. These requirements are based on the level, with weapons typically having more stringent requirements than armor.
Many upgrade recipes include a list of 'Acceptable Material in addition to the required components. This list lists the other upgrade components are available on the item, and also includes a flag indicating whether that item is guaranteed to boost or additional effect. This is crucial because the value of an upgrade could differ greatly based on its "extras. For instance an item that is properly rolled could be worth more than the non-upgraded version.
For the types of upgrades that require crests or valorstones, they will be displayed in a separate list beneath the main list. The number of crests and valorstones needed depends on the level of the item. Weapon upgrades require the most Valorstones.
